Today On Jan. 6, Arizona Climate Supply gained a new member of their team. Rick Willeford joined the company as their newest sales representative. Besides his responsibilities with Arizona Climate Supply’s marketing, branding, and customer service, Willeford will be helping them develop their HVAC department into a stronger presence. 

Arizona Climate Supply is an HVAC/plumbing supply company, which was founded in 2003 with the goal of focusing on the customer experience first and foremost. Putting their customer’s needs, questions, and time first is at the core of their mission statement. Their website and Facebook page include plenty of information about their events but also about their products and offerings. Located at 2930 W. Willetta St., Phoenix, the company has been family owned and operated for over 15 years. 

Willeford brings over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC industry to Arizona Climate Supply. 

“I used to run a distribution center, used to be a contractor—I have experience in everything from contracting to wholesale,” Willeford explained. 

His past experience as a manufacturer’s representative will also assist him as he helps Arizona Climate Supply grow their business.

“Arizona Climate Supply is strong when it comes to their plumbing offerings, and now it’s time to grow even more into the HVAC side of things,” said Willeford. “I’m looking forward to helping Rick and Megan [the owners] grow this part of their business.” 

Willeford’s knowledge and experience in the various parts of the HVAC industry will assist him in his transition into his new position. 

In addition to their plans to grow their HVAC department, Arizona Climate Supply is developing unique offerings for the future. Said offerings are a secret for now, Willeford said. “We’re looking forward to finding ways to set ourselves apart.” Arizona Climate Supply plans to release more information in the coming year.

When asked about future challenges, Willeford laughed and said, “too many wholesalers.” He went on to explain the importance of customer service and maintaining Arizona Climate Supply’s relationship with their many clients. Willeford echoed the sentiment displayed on Arizona Climate Supply’s website, emphasizing the need to ensure that their customers receive the parts and/or service that is both right for their unique situation and will operate well into the future.

Willeford is also looking forward to another aspect of his new position. “I’m excited to be part of a team again and to build another work family. You know, you see these people every day and it’ll be nice to build that kind of relationship again,” Willeford said. “I’ve been running mostly solo the last ten years so this will be a nice change of pace.” 

Willeford added that the new position would also allow him more direct interaction with customers and wholesalers. Not only will his experience and knowledge prove useful but Willeford will also get the opportunity to help people. “Over the years, I’ve built a relationship with Arizona Climate Supply and I’m looking forward to joining their team and getting to help their customers.”
